The Longevity Center offers Qigong classes for energetic skill development and personal healing to health care professionals and laypersons, optionally leading to certification in Advanced Chinese Medical Qigong.

Chinese Medical Qigong Certification: We utilize "Medical Qigong Therapy: A comprehensive Clinical Text" by Dr. Jerry Alan Johnson Ph.D., D.T.C.M., D.M.Q.(China). Taught by Arnold E. Tayam, D.M.Q.(China), in San Jose/Cupertino.
Basic Qigong Class (1st Year): Introduction, theories, 3 regulations, major meridian dilation, cleansing qi emission introduction, clinical skill development, Introduction to Bodywork.
Qigong 1A (6 month course): • Basic theories of Qigong • Dilation of the 12 regular meridians and 8 extraordinary meridians • Emotional detoxification • Opening 3 energetic centers • Strengthening your protective energy field
Qigong 1B (6 month course): • Advanced Cleansing process • Development of energetic sensitivity and perception skills • Increased energetic projection skills • Increased energetic assessment skills • Introduction to energetic applications
Advanced Medical Qigong class (2nd & 3rd Year): Chinese medicine theory and principles, qi emission modalities, power building, advanced skill development. Modulation of common energetic dysfunction, formulas for internal regulating, advanced external qi emission, case studies, clinical internship, teacher development (This is a 3 year residential program).
